The Spectacles Return
After I had LASIK performed in 1999, my vision was better than perfect (20/20 and 20/15). Over the passed 2 years, I have noticed a slight degredation in focus and it came to head today. It dawned on me that my recent headaches were the result of eye strain. Enough is enough dagnabit, so I went to Lenscrafters and procured some new spectacles. I got half-frame ultra light frames and my vision is much better. My prescription is only .25 and .50, but even that little bit was driving me nuts. Now to watch some High Definition TV in focus!

And thus why I won't get lasik. Its pointless, or so it seems. A few years later and your back to wearing corrective lenses.

You only say that because you haven't had LASIK. My vision before LASIK was 20/1100 and 20/800. After surgery it was 20/20 and 20/15. I went from blind as a bat to perfect vision. Now, almost 6 years later, my vision is 20/30 and 20/25, only a slight degredation. I can see just fine without glasses, but prefer the extra focus that they bring when watching TV or driving. LASIK rocks and if my vision gets too bad, I'll have it done again. Worth every penny.
