The Wall, Part 1

Today, I formally resigned from WebTrends. They have treated me well for 7 years, but it's time to move on to the next challenge in my life. Some of the dudes in IT took me out for a beer. We usually hit the Yamhill Pub, a local hole-in-the-wall, but it was packed. We headed to Paddy's and sat at the bar. The bartender introduced to "the wall" where they have over 400 bottles of various liquor. If you can make it to the end of the wall, you get 20% off your drinks for life. Sounds like a goal worth achieving. I am not a big drinker, so this will take me considerable time. Nonetheless, I will finish the wall someday.
Drink one was a 16-year-old single malt whiskey from the Aberlour distillery. It was smooth, had little aftertaste, and made my tummy warm. Cost: $8.50
Mood: Surreal after quiting my job of 7 years. Listening to: Flogging Molly Watching: Watched Monk last night, but still waiting for Fall TV to start. Reading: The Walking Dead(graphic novels based on a comic series)
